What to expect

Transfer from Accommodation

We begin the journey with a transfer from the accommodation within the urban area of Coyhaique or the previously agreed meeting point.

Start of the Circuit in the Coyhaique National Reserve

We enter the Coyhaique National Reserve, where the hike to Cerro Cinchao begins. We walk through a forest of introduced species, heading toward Laguna Verde, which marks the start of the native forests. From this point, we begin to enjoy partial views of the city of Coyhaique.

Ascent to Cerro Cinchao

We continue the ascent, hiking through forests of lengas and coigües, crossing unique natural landscapes until we reach the summit of Cerro Cinchao. From the top, we enjoy panoramic views of the mountain ranges surrounding Coyhaique—an unforgettable experience in connection with nature.

Lunch at the Summit of Cerro Cinchao

Once we reach the summit, we enjoy a box lunch specially designed for mountain activities. This moment is ideal for resting, admiring the panoramic views, and recharging before starting the descent.

Descent from Cerro Cinchao

We begin the descent along the same trail. The descent is moderate, offering more opportunities to enjoy the landscape and take photos.

Return to Accommodation

We conclude the experience with a return transfer to your accommodation in Coyhaique, ending a day filled with adventure, nature, and unforgettable landscapes.

What you should know

What to bring

Comfortable clothing that allows mobility (clothing recommendations will be given based on the season and weather), mid- or high-cut trekking shoes, a backpack for personal belongings, and a water bottle for hydration.

No pets allowed, no smoking, no being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, no littering.
Do not take flora or stones from the area.
