Explore on a panoramic tour of the Andes this historic Patagonian estancia, strategically located within the boundaries of Los Glaciares National Park.
What to expect
The day before your activity, we will contact you to inform you of the pick-up time. If you are coming on your own, we will be waiting for you at the La Soledad Private Port and you will be notified the day before with the schedules and meeting place.
The guide will welcome you to the Estancia and take you to the Quincho, where you will enjoy a hot drink (tea, coffee, or mate) accompanied by homemade pastries.
We will take a walk that will offer stunning views of the South Arm of Lake Argentino. We will follow trails that lead us to a forest of lenga and ñire trees, home to caranchos, eagles, hares, woodpeckers, and a rich native fauna and flora.
We continue to the shearing shed, where a manual demonstration using scissors will be done, just as it was done in the past. We will observe a 'rein test' of riders and, among other activities, you can participate in a small milking activity.
We head back to the Quincho, where our expert grill master will be waiting for us with a delicious Patagonian lamb lunch.
If you chose the option with transfers, we will be returning to the hotels, arriving at approximately 4:30 PM.
