What to expect
Pick up at the accommodation in El Calafate and start of the tour in a 4x4 vehicle along the coast of Lake Argentino.
Tour through the Patagonian steppe to Punta Walichu, with views of Lake Argentino, the cliffs, the Andes mountain range, and El Calafate.
Walk of approximately 500 meters to the archaeological site to observe original rock paintings and learn about aspects of the Tehuelche culture and the first expeditions in the region.
Return by 4x4 vehicle and drop off at the accommodation in El Calafate.
