What to expect
Meeting Point: Recreo Yacht Club, Viña del Mar
Optional transfer from Santiago can be arranged. Crew briefing and departure around 10:00 (weather dependent).
1 HourSailing to Juan Fernández
About three and a half days at sea crossing the Humboldt Current with rotating watches, marine observation, onboard activities, and trolling/fishing.
3 DaysCumberland Bay, Juan Fernández Island
Anchorage and disembarkation. Three nights ashore with trekking, diving, fishing, and endemic flora/fauna observation.
4 DaysReturn to Viña del Mar
Departure on the morning of Day 7 (weather dependent). Approximately three and a half days’ sail back to the mainland. Estimated arrival the night of Day 10 or morning of Day 11.
