What to expect
We will pick you up at your hotel or designated meeting point in La Fortuna to start the adventure.
1 HourWe will travel by air-conditioned minibus to our private starting point at the Balsa River, a scenic 45-minute journey.
45 MinutesOnce at the operations center, you will receive safety equipment and a detailed orientation session with our guides on basic paddling techniques and rescue protocols.
30 MinutesA 10 km descent down the Balsa River, enjoying class II-III rapids and observing local wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, and toucans.
1 Hour 45 MinutesYou will have a short time at the operations center to use the showers and changing rooms before lunch.
15 MinutesShort trip to the restaurant to enjoy a well-deserved rest and meal.
45 MinutesYou will enjoy a buffet lunch with typical Costa Rican dishes made with fresh regional products.
45 MinutesWe will take you back to your hotel or meeting point in La Fortuna.
