The El Mirador sector is always visited accompanied by a park ranger, with a maximum capacity of 15 people.

To access the El Mirador sector via Las Trancas, it is necessary to start from the municipality of La Unión, then take route T-80 and travel 45 kilometers to reach the administration of the site. Note that 22 of those kilometers are gravel and difficult transit, so it is recommended to use a four-wheel drive vehicle.
