



What to expect
Meeting at Plaza Foch (7:10 a.m.) or at the designated café in Plaza San Blas (7:20 a.m.) to start the trip to the park.
We will arrive at the park to visit the Reserve area and ascend to the parking lot located at 4,500 meters above sea level.
Start of the trekking to the refuge for a rest and to take panoramic photos of the volcano and surroundings.
We continue the ascent to the edge of the glacier (subject to weather conditions and guide).
Descent on foot back to the parking lot to get ready for the cycling stage.
Start of the exciting bike descent along the volcano route, enjoying the landscape and adrenaline. The activity is optional towards Limpiopungo.
Break to replenish energy with the included lunch, after the intense mountain activity.
Return trip to Quito, ending the adventure tour at the initial pick-up points.
What you should know
- Comfortable clothing and windbreaker
- Protection for neck, ears, and hands (gloves)
- Hat or cap for sun protection
- Sunscreen
- Hiking without good physical condition
- Smoking or consuming alcohol
- Activities that endanger local wildlife
- Separating from the group or guide during trekking and descent
- A minimum number of participants is required for the activity to take place. If this number is not reached, it will be rescheduled for another date or a refund will be issued.
- This activity is considered medium-high difficulty due to altitude and uphill walks.
