What to expect
The experience begins with arrival at the base located in Potrerillos, after traveling through the landscapes of International Route 7. There, professional guides will welcome you and explain how the activity will unfold.
You will receive the necessary equipment to carry out the descent, consisting of a wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, and paddle. The guides will help you prepare properly before starting the adventure.
Before entering the river, you will participate in a safety briefing given by a professional guide. You will learn basic paddling techniques, instructions to coordinate with the group, and procedures to follow during the trip.
With the equipment ready, you will head upstream to the point where the descent will begin. There you will board the raft along with the rest of the group and the guide in charge of accompanying the navigation.
During the first kilometers, you will get familiar with the water, practice team paddling techniques, and face the first rapids while enjoying the natural landscape of Potrerillos.
You will navigate for approximately one hour along a 12-kilometer stretch of whitewater. Throughout the descent, you will overcome rapids, waves, and turns while enjoying an exciting rafting experience on the Mendoza River.
The route will end directly at the base, so no additional transfer will be necessary after leaving the river.
