



What to expect
Meet at the designated points (Plaza Foch or Zular Coffee Shop, San Blas) to board the transport heading to Otavalo.
We will make a stop to learn about the process of making the traditional Cayambe biscuits. Option to have breakfast (not included).
Arrival at the Quitsato monument, a large-format sundial that marks the equatorial line and explains the Andean worldview.
Brief stop at the viewpoint to appreciate the panoramic view of the lake and the imposing Imbabura volcano (optional stop).
Free time to walk around and explore the famous Plaza de Ponchos, interacting with artisans and admiring the textile richness.
Walk around Laguna Cuicocha, an impressive volcanic crater with two islets in the center. Enjoy the natural landscape of the Andes.
Break to enjoy the included lunch before continuing the tour.
Brief tour of the town of Cotacachi, famous for its artisanal production of leather goods.
Return trip to Quito to drop off participants at the same initial pickup points.

- A minimum number of participants is required for the activity to take place. If this number is not reached, the activity will be rescheduled for another date or a refund will be issued.
- Breakfast at the biscuit factory and entrance to the Sundial are not included in the tour price.
