What to expect
Reception at the historic 200-year-old main house, where an introduction to the history and philosophy of Viña Maquis and Viña Calcu is provided. Visitors can learn about the background and importance of these vineyards in the Colchagua Valley.
10 MinutesVisitors are welcomed in our cozy Wine Shop, where they receive a brief introduction to the day's activities. The tour then begins with an initial walk along the Chimbarongo estuary, highlighting its natural and ecological importance.
10 MinutesThe tour continues by showcasing the valley and its natural surroundings, explaining viticulture practices and vineyard management. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of soil and nature in wine production. Visitors will see the Carménère plantations and understand the cultivation process of this variety.
40 MinutesThe experience culminates with a wine tasting in the tourism house, including a Rosé Gran Reserva and three iconic wines from the vineyard. Visitors will appreciate the unique nuances and characteristics of each wine, guided by an expert winemaker.
