What to expect
Meeting at the office:
We gather at our office to gear up and meet the guides who will accompany us on this adventure.
1 HourJourney to Quetrupillán Volcano:
We head east in our vehicles. After a 1.5-hour drive, we arrive at the base of the volcano.
5 HoursHike through the forest:
We begin a 2-hour hike through an ancient forest of Coihue trees and other native species.
2 HoursAscent to Quetrupillán Volcano:
We start the ascent to the volcano, enjoying spectacular views to the west, including the Villarrica Volcano. This stage lasts between 3 and 4 hours.
4 HoursSummit of Quetrupillán Volcano:
We reach the summit of the volcano, where we will enjoy the views and rest for 30 minutes to an hour before beginning the descent.
1 HourDescent and return to Pucón:
We descend by walking and sliding on the snow, taking between 2.5 and 3 hours to reach our vehicles. Finally, we return to Pucón.
