What to expect
The journey begins at Lodge Kodkod, where you will meet your guide, receive a brief introduction, and prepare for the horseback ride.
15 MinutesBegin the ascent on horseback along the trail towards the Cañi Sanctuary, a path surrounded by nature and native forest.
20 MinutesContinue the journey along the Kutraco Trail, a charming path that immerses you in the beauty of the Araucanía temperate forest.
20 MinutesAlong the way, you will cross the serene Kutraco stream, which adds freshness to the landscape.
10 MinutesThe ride ends at a viewpoint with breathtaking views of the Villarrica volcano, where you can take a break and admire the landscape.
15 MinutesAfter enjoying the viewpoint, you will return along the same trail to Lodge Kodkod.

- Comfortable clothing for riding.
- Trekking shoes and sneakers
- Water bottle
- Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol on the horse is not allowed
- Animals are not allowed
- The helmet must not be removed during the entire ride
- All horseback rides include accident insurance
- For animal welfare reasons and to ensure the care of the horses, this activity has a weight limit of 95 kg.
