What to expect
Iniciamos la jornada con la salida desde su hotel en Puerto Madryn rumbo al sur, hacia la imponente Isla Escondida. Este rincón natural virgen es un refugio de elefantes marinos, los mamíferos más grandes del planeta. Allí se realiza la observación desde miradores naturales, a una distancia segura, donde es posible ver a estos gigantes descansando en la costa patagónica.
La excursión continúa hacia el Área Natural Punta Tombo, hogar de la colonia continental de pingüinos de Magallanes más grande del mundo. Se visita el Centro de Interpretación para conocer más sobre la fauna y la geología de la región. Luego se recorre el sendero interpretativo de aproximadamente 1500 metros, con miradores frente al mar desde donde se observa a los pingüinos en su hábitat natural. Dependiendo de la época del año, es posible ver distintas conductas como la anidación, el cuidado de las crías y las interacciones dentro de la colonia, además del avistaje de fauna autóctona de la estepa patagónica. Regreso a Puerto Madryn al finalizar la tarde.
