What to expect

Day 1 Península Valdés

Explore the Península Valdés Protected Natural Area, declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. It is an ideal experience for those who enjoy wildlife observation in freedom and the great Patagonian landscapes. During the day, you will visit some of the main attractions of the reserve, searching for fauna such as sea lions, elephant seals, guanacos, maras, rheas, and a wide variety of birds. Depending on the time of year and natural conditions, there is also the possibility of observing orcas from the coast. Between June and December, those interested can optionally take a whale watching boat tour to see southern right whales from Puerto Pirámides, one of the most outstanding experiences.

Day 2 Punta Tombo and Isla Escondida

Visit Punta Tombo, home to the largest continental colony of Magellanic penguins in the world. Through trails, you can walk among thousands of penguins and closely observe their behavior in their natural environment. The excursion also includes a visit to Isla Escondida, one of the main observation points for elephant seals on the Patagonian coast, where you can contemplate them and enjoy a unique coastal environment.
