What to expect
We begin the experience with a transfer from your accommodation in Puerto Varas, ensuring a comfortable and timely start to explore the landscapes and culture of the Los Lagos Region. At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your accommodation.
30 MinutesWe start the experience with an easy trek to an impressive waterfall in the region. This natural route allows you to enjoy the local flora and a refreshing landscape, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. (Not included, price of $2,500 per person).
We will explore Puerto Octay, a charming historic town that was once the most important port on Lake Llanquihue. We will learn about its German-style architecture and rich culture, marked by European colonization.
Our next stop is Frutillar, famous for its Musical Weeks and vibrant cultural life. Enjoy free time to explore its beach with views of the Calbuco and Osorno volcanoes, as well as its delicious German-influenced cuisine during lunch.
We travel the “Route of the Settlers,” a scenic route that crosses rural landscapes and farmland, offering spectacular views and an authentic glimpse of the life of the German settlers who established themselves in this area.
5 HoursWe end the experience in Llanquihue, a quiet town on the shores of the lake of the same name. We will learn about its history linked to German colonization and enjoy its unique views.
