What to expect
Meeting point – Base in Ensenada:
Welcome by the staff and registration at the operations base.
10 MinutesSafety briefing and instructions:
Explanation of equipment use, paddling techniques and safety measures, followed by equipment delivery.
30 MinutesTransfer to the Petrohué River:
Short drive in private transport to the starting point of the descent.
15 MinutesStart of the adventure on the Petrohué River:
Initial practice on the riverbank and 5 km descent with class II rapids and calm sections for swimming and nature watching.
1 HourEnd of the descent:
Arrival at the final point of the route and change of clothes.
15 MinutesReturn to the base:
Private transfer back to the base in Ensenada.
15 MinutesGroup snack:
Shared snack to wrap up the experience.
