What to expect
Walking tour around the square and its surroundings. We will learn about the monument to Hernando de Magallanes, the Patagonian Indian, and heritage buildings such as the cathedral, the Sara Braun Palace, and the municipality.
30 MinutesPanoramic view of the city, the Strait of Magellan, and the nearby islands. Time for taking photographs.
15 MinutesVehicle tour along the waterfront. View of the Strait, monument to the schooner Ancud, and birdlife. Stops for photos.
20 MinutesGuided walk inside the cemetery. Observation of neoclassical architecture and tour of historical points. Entrance fee to the cemetery not included.
40 MinutesBrief stop for photographs next to one of the classic postcards of Punta Arenas.
10 MinutesVisit to the municipal park with replicas of prehistoric fauna and panoramic tour of the southern sector of the city.
