



What to expect
Meet at Plaza Foch (7:10 a.m.) or at the designated café in Plaza San Blas (7:20 a.m.) to start the journey south.
2 HoursDuring the trip, artists from the Tigua community will board the bus to show their art or, alternatively, we will stop at the local gallery to see their leather paintings.
45 MinutesWe will make a brief stop at a viewpoint to admire and photograph the impressive geological formations of the Toachi River Canyon.
30 MinutesWe arrive at the main viewpoint of Quilotoa, located at 3,900 meters above sea level, to take photos and prepare for the hike.
30 MinutesStart of the descent hike to the edge of the lagoon. You will have time to enjoy the view and the volcanic crater.
3 HoursAfter the hike back to the viewpoint, we will enjoy a traditional lunch to regain energy.
1 HourWe begin the return trip to the city of Quito.

- A minimum number of participants is required for the activity to take place. If this number is not reached, it will be rescheduled for another date or a refund will be issued.
- The hike to the lagoon is of medium-high difficulty due to altitude and the ascent on the return.
