What to expect
The meeting point is set at Puerto Moreno for a rowing class and the delivery of safety equipment and technical gear. Class duration: between 30 and 45 minutes.
We begin the kayak crossing with the Guide to Huemul Island. Along the way, you can observe mountain cliffs of the island and a sunken boat.
Depending on each kayaker, we arrive at Huemul Island. A trekking begins on the island where the old Atomic Energy project of Bariloche, dating back to 1951, is visited. It includes abandoned laboratory sites, restaurants, and ruins of that Argentine project announced as a national atomic energy mega project.
Return to Puerto Moreno.
