What to expect
We will meet at Ignacio Carrera Pinto 499, San Pedro de Atacama, to start the journey by transport to the observatory.
15 MinutesWe will arrive at the observatory, where we will be welcomed and prepare to begin the astronomical observation activities.
5 MinutesWe will watch an introductory audiovisual presentation to familiarize ourselves with basic astronomy concepts before starting sky observation.
20 MinutesWe will participate in an outdoor talk under the night sky with the guide, who will use a laser pointer to point out and explain visible stars, planets, and constellations.
25 MinutesWe will have a photography session under the starry sky, with 1 photo per person and 1 group photo per booking. During this activity, a snack with cold and hot drinks, as well as sweet and savory options, will be served.
40 MinutesWe will observe celestial bodies through 7 telescopes, with the guide's assistance to learn and understand the details of what we can see in real time.
25 MinutesWe will return to San Pedro de Atacama and transfer each passenger to their hotel. The return service does not include accommodations located in Ayllus.
