What to expect
Pickup at the terminal around 11 a.m.
Arrival at the largest city in the valley, a World Heritage Site. Brief initial visit before continuing to Uquía. Bring a packed lunch as there is no time to stop for lunch.
Visit to the Church of San Francisco de Paula (17th century). Observation of the paintings of the Angelic Arquebusiers.
Stop to step on the imaginary line of the Tropic of Capricorn. Brief cultural and geographical explanation.
From Uquía, transfer by 4x4 vehicle to Hornocal. Unique panoramic views of the multicolored mountain range. Return with a brief 20-minute stop in Humahuaca before continuing to Tilcara.
