What to expect
The experience begins by following the historic paths and the legendary route of the ancient prisoners of Ushuaia. On horseback, you will venture into the pristine nature of the End of the World, crossing lush subantarctic Nothofagus forests while starting the ascent up the slopes of Mount Susana.
After the ride, you will reach the summit of Mount Susana, where you will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the city of Ushuaia and its surroundings. To conclude this 7-hour day, you will enjoy an authentic barbecue prepared by the host family, sharing a traditional meal in an unparalleled natural setting.
What you should know
- Wear long pants (due to contact with thorny vegetation)
- Wear closed shoes that can fit into the stirrup of the saddle, ideally sneakers.
- Clothing with zippered pockets (for valuables).
- Bring sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Under 11 years old
- Pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or poor physical condition
- A minimum number of participants is required for the activity to take place. If this number is not reached, it will be rescheduled for another date or a refund will be issued.
