We meet at the Río Ixcán Camp on the bank of the Lacantún River where you will receive safety instructions and meet the guide who will lead the activity.
You will board a motorboat and we will navigate along the Lacantún River channel observing the jungle vegetation and the giant trees lining the riverbank.
During the navigation, the guide will point out spots to observe birds, monkeys, and Mayan archaeological remains from the shore while respecting restricted access areas.
We will make a stop to explore trails that go into the jungle where you will walk among local flora and have opportunities to observe biodiversity.
