What to expect
We start the day by picking up travelers at their respective hotels located within the urban area of Cusco city to begin the journey towards the Andes.
30 MinutesWe will cross the mountains heading to Pisac, making brief stops at viewpoints to capture photographs and appreciate the vastness of the valley.
1 Hour 10 MinutesWe will explore the terraces and temples of the Pisac complex, learning about their religious and agricultural importance during the Inca period.
40 MinutesWe will cross the valley until we reach Urubamba, where we will enjoy a varied buffet lunch with typical dishes from the region.
1 Hour 45 MinutesWe will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, learning about its military history and the impressive engineering of its stone constructions.
1 Hour 25 MinutesWe will discover the archaeological site of Chinchero and visit a textile workshop to learn about traditional natural dyeing techniques.
2 HoursWe will return to the city of Cusco to drop you off at your accommodation or at Regocijo Square, thus ending the excursion.
