What to expect
Early pick up at your hotel and departure towards the south of Cusco heading to Cusipata to start the excursion.
2 HoursStop for breakfast and continue the trip towards the starting point of the trekking.
30 MinutesTravel by transport to Fulawasi or access area where the hike begins.
1 HourAscent along a high Andean trail until reaching the summit of Vinicunca with views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain.
1 HourTime for photos, rest, and appreciation of the multicolored landscape before starting the descent.
20 MinutesDescent by the same route, transfer to Cusipata for lunch and later return by transport to Cusco.
