What to expect
If you booked transfer, the start includes pick up at hotels in El Chaltén between 7:30 and 8:00 am to begin the journey towards Punta Sur.
The transfer from El Chaltén to Punta Sur starts at 8:00 am and covers 37 km to the boarding point.
If you did not book transfer, you must present yourself at 9:45 am at Punta Sur, at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
The departure is scheduled at 10:00 am from Punta Sur heading to the Vespignani Glacier Reserve.
At 10:30 am, the descent is made to begin the activity in the Vespignani area, where the trekking experience takes place.
At 1:30 pm, the return departure begins from the Vespignani area back to Punta Sur.
At 2:00 pm, the descent is made at Punta Sur to continue with activity time in the area. Optionally, a visit to the Huemul Glacier can be made.
At 4:00 pm, the return from Punta Sur to El Chaltén begins, covering 37 km to the arrival point.
The arrival at El Chaltén is scheduled for 5:30 pm, marking the end of the activity.
