What to expect
We will meet at the Cara del Indio base camp, where we will begin with the necessary equipment and preparation to carry out rafting.
30 MinutesOnce equipped, we will transfer in the company vans from the base camp to the entrance of the Puente a Macal section of the Futaleufú River.
2 HoursUpon arrival at the entrance of the Puente a Macal section, the guides will give us a technical talk with safety instructions, the commands we will use, and possible situations that may arise during the descent.
30 MinutesBefore starting the descent, we will practice in the water the instructions and commands explained by the guides during the technical talk.
We will begin the descent through the Puente a Macal section of the Futaleufú River, covering more than 15 kilometers and navigating Class II, III, IV, and V+ rapids.
At the end of the descent, the company van will be waiting to transfer us back to the Cara del Indio base camp.
Back at the base camp, we will return the technical equipment, review photos and videos of the activity, and share a snack to conclude the day.
