What to expect

DAY 1

Departure from the central square of Iruya, located near the Church at 7:30 am. We head to the community of Chiyayoc, passing through Río Colorado, where we will have the opportunity to have lunch outdoors accompanied by the music of the sound of water. We continue to the community of Chiyayoc where we will spend the night, previously enjoying a snack and dinner that will allow us to rest peacefully.

DAY 2

Our journey begins at 7 am with breakfast, then we head to the community of Rodio de Valle Delgado, where they await us to enjoy a lunch that will provide the necessary energy to reach Rodeo Colorado, the place where we will spend the night.

DAY 3

We start the morning with a good breakfast, then we can explore our town, capture images and memories from the viewpoints or perspectives subtly offered by our landscape. Our walk continues before noon, heading to the community of Molino, to enter the Department of Santa Victoria Oeste. Here they await us with an authentic and typical local lunch, but to get there we must pass through the community of Abra del Sauce, a town that offers unique postcards and landscapes. After replenishing the necessary energy for our body through the lunch served in the community of Molino, our walk heads to the community of Cuesta Azul, where we will spend the night because it is the gateway to Nazareno.

DAY 4

The last stretch to reach our destination begins after breakfast in the locality of Cuesta Azul, to travel the last trail that takes us to Nazareno, a town that has recently opened to tourism and offers its traditions, culture, and authentic way of life unique to the place.

DAY 5

In the morning hours, departure by van to La Quiaca. End of our journey.
