The adventure begins at Puesto Quesada, the starting point for a moderately intense hike. You will venture into the heart of Malacara Volcano, a landscape shaped by a unique hydromagmatic eruption. The route will take you through fascinating gullies and narrow passages, unique geological formations that resemble natural labyrinths, offering an immersive and exciting trekking experience.
Upon reaching the highest points of the excursion, you will be rewarded with access to natural viewpoints of breathtaking beauty. From here, the view extends to encompass the vastness of Laguna del Llancanelo, the imposing backdrop of the Andes Mountain Range, and a privileged view of Payunia, the reserve that hosts the highest concentration of volcanoes in South America.
