What to expect
Departure on horseback from the stable to begin the mountain ride through Potrerillos.
Horseback ride through Cerro Totoral following Route 89 and crossing the Río Blanco, with views of the Cordón del Plata and the Potrerillos Dam.
Journey through native flora while guides share information about native plants and the geological formation of the Frontal Mountain Range.
Stop under the poplars to share a country barbecue with a cold cuts platter, homemade sauces, toast, empanadas, and a glass of Mendoza wine.
Return on horseback through the mountain landscape until arriving back at the stable.
What you should know
- Wear long pants.
- Wear closed shoes that can fit in the stirrup of the saddle, ideally sneakers.
- Clothing with zippered pockets (for valuables).
- Bring a cap, sunglasses, sunscreen.
- Not recommended for pregnant women and people with reduced mobility.
- If you go on your own, leave with enough time to be 15 minutes before the start time.
- Keep in mind that from Mendoza city to Potrerillos there is a 1.5 hour trip.
