What to expect
Day 1 – Start of Carretera Austral
Pickup from your accommodation in Puerto Montt. Visit to Alerce Andino National Park and transfer to Hornopirén for overnight stay.
Day 2 – Pumalín National Park
Ferry to Caleta Gonzalo and hiking in the park.
Day 3 – Chaitén Volcano and Puyuhuapi
Hike to the volcano and transfer to Puyuhuapi.
Day 4 – Queulat National Park
Trekking to the Hanging Glacier and visit to Puerto Cisnes.
Day 5 – Puerto Aysén and Río Simpson National Reserve
Scenic journey through natural landscapes en route to Coyhaique.
Day 6 – Coyhaique National Reserve and Villa Cerro Castillo
Scenic route with viewpoints and transfer to the village.
Day 7 – Cerro Castillo Lagoon Trek
High-intensity hike to the glacial lagoon.

Day 13 – Lake General Carrera and Coyhaique
Ferry navigation and final return to Coyhaique.
