What to expect
We depart from the town of Putre towards Lauca National Park. During the transfer, we will enjoy the region's characteristic flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
1 HourWe will embark on a trek in the archaeological area of Las Cuevas, a historic site connecting us to the region's first inhabitants.
1 HourWe will stop at the Chucuyo Lookout to admire a unique panoramic view of the Payachatas Volcanoes and the surrounding breathtaking landscape.
30 MinutesWe will observe the biodiversity of the Parinacota Wetlands, home to birds and camelids. Visit the pre-Columbian Parinacota Village, highlighting its 17th-century church, declared a national monument.
1 HourWe will contemplate the turquoise waters of the Cotacotani Lagoons, surrounded by a landscape that reflects the majesty of the Altiplano.
30 MinutesWe will trek along the shores of Lake Chungará, the highest lake in the world (4,530 m.a.s.l.), admiring its unique surroundings with snow-capped volcanoes.
1 HourWe end the experience with a relaxing bath in the Jurasi Hot Springs, enjoying their warm waters in a privileged natural setting.
1 HourAfter completing the tour, we return to the town of Putre, concluding this unforgettable experience in the Chilean Altiplano.
