What to expect
Start of the experience with hotel pick-up and departure towards Angra dos Reis. The journey from Rio de Janeiro to Angra dos Reis takes approximately 3 hours.
Arrival at Santa Luzia Pier to board the schooner and start sailing around some of the islands of Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande. -There is a fee of R$ 28.00 to be paid at the city hall upon entering the city (fee not included).
First stop at Lagoa Azul, described by the operator as a natural aquarium where it is possible to see various species of fish and starfish.
Second stop of the tour at Araçá Beach, located in the bay of Ilha Grande.
Third stop at Botinas Islands, with a stop for swimming in the open sea.
Fourth stop at Japariz Beach or Praia das Flechas, planned for lunch at a rustic restaurant facing the beach.
End of the schooner tour with boarding for return after completing the tour of the bay and its stops.
Return to Rio de Janeiro at the end of the experience.
