Visit to the wine region of the province, crossing the Quebrada de Las Conchas. Route: National Route 68 (Wine Route); Lerma Valley (Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, La Viña – technical stop).

Gradually, the arid landscape is replaced by vast vineyards until reaching one of the most prominent regions within the Calchaquí Valleys: Cafayate, a city with low houses blending colonial and late 19th-century baroque styles.

Quebrada de las Conchas: more than 10 stops at multicolored formations caused by wind and water erosion, such as the Devil's Throat, the Amphitheater, the Yesera, the Windows, the Castles, etc.

Cafayate

In Cafayate, you will have the opportunity to visit a winery and taste the best wines of the region. Although the area is mainly associated with Torrontés, it also has a large number of hectares dedicated to red grapes such as Malbec, Tannat, or Cabernet Sauvignon. Visit to the city of Cafayate and a winery. There will be 2 free hours in the city to have lunch and explore. City of low houses with colonial and late 19th-century baroque architecture.
