What to expect
Transfer from central hotels in Salta and start of the journey towards Cafayate via RN 68, passing through towns in the Lerma Valley such as Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, and La Viña.
Stop at a farm to observe different breeds of goats and learn about the cheese-making process.
Entry to the Quebrada de las Conchas through Alemanía and tour among its main geological formations, such as the Devil's Throat, the Amphitheater, La Yesera, Casa de Loros, Los Castillos, Los Médanos, El Fraile, El Obelisco, and Las Ventanas.
Visit to a winery to learn about aspects of Salta wine production, with special reference to Torrontés wine.
Time allocated for lunch and free time to explore Cafayate and visit some of its most representative places.
Return to Salta crossing again the Quebrada de las Conchas, appreciating its landscapes under different lighting conditions.
Start of the journey from Salta through the Lerma Valley, passing through Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, and Chicoana before continuing on RP 33.
Entry to the Precordillera of the Andes through the ravines of Los Laureles and Escoipe, touring mountain landscapes and areas with cultivated terraces.
Ascent through the Cuesta del Obispo among rock formations and natural cliffs until reaching Piedra del Molino, located at 3,348 meters above sea level.
Tour along the Recta del Tin Tin, part of the Inca Trail, with a stop at Agua de los Loros and passing by the viewpoint of Nevado de Cachi, Los Cardones National Park, and Payogasta.
Arrival in Cachi, time allocated for lunch and a tour of the town to see its colonial architecture, the church, the museum, and the craft market.
