What to expect
The day begins with a warm welcome at the Las Vertientes establishment. You will be guided through the artisanal cheese factory, where you will discover the secrets of cheese making, from receiving fresh milk to the maturation process. You will participate in a hands-on demonstration and conclude the experience with a guided tasting of different varieties of cheeses, paired with local products, all set against the incomparable backdrop of the Patagonian landscapes.
The experience moves to the sweet heart of the countryside. You will learn the traditional method to make exquisite dulce de leche, watching its slow cooking in a copper pan and tasting it freshly made. Then, you will have time to freely explore the beautiful establishment, walk its trails, connect with nature, and enjoy the tranquility of the unique environment stretching between Junín and San Martín de los Andes.
