What to expect
Presentation at the operations base, located in a setting with views of Lake Huechulafquen, the source of the Chimehuin River, and Lanín Volcano.
Before starting the activity, an instructional talk is given and the necessary technical equipment for navigation is provided.
The experience continues with a journey across Lake Huechulafquen, surrounded by araucaria trees and mountains, before reaching the starting point of the descent.
Navigation through class 2+ rapids of the Chimehuin River, including highlighted sections such as the Devil's Throat and moments of water play in the heart of the Patagonian landscape.
End of the activity at the base to rest, share the experience lived, and review the photographs taken during the tour.
What you should know
- Wear comfortable clothes, swimsuit, towel, and tight-fitting footwear (no crocs or flip-flops) that can get wet. (rafting). Bring a change of dry clothes.
- On cooler days, a thermal shirt can be worn. We also provide a wetsuit and windbreaker jacket.
- Pregnant women and children under 6 years old
- Maximum weight 100kg (maximum life jacket size)
- A minimum number of participants is required for the activity to take place. If this number is not reached, it will be rescheduled for another date or a refund will be issued.
- This activity is subject to weather conditions. If the operator determines that the outing cannot take place, it will be rescheduled for another available date. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be given.
