What to expect
The adventure begins with a trek through the heart of Lanín National Park. We will cross lush Patagonian forests of lenga and coihue trees, observing the local flora and fauna. Gradually, the landscape will transform as we enter a spectacular lava field, a volcanic terrain that reminds us of the powerful nature of the place. The day ends upon reaching the camping area, where we will set up our base camp to have dinner and rest under the stars, preparing for the ascent the next day.
We will start the day very early to begin the final ascent to the crater of Achen Ñiyeu Volcano. The physical challenge is rewarded with every step as we gain height and admire the stunning panoramic views. From the summit, we will enjoy a unique volcanic landscape, with a privileged view of the imposing Lanín Volcano and the surrounding lakes. After celebrating the achievement at the top and replenishing energy, we will descend the same route and then return to the starting point, concluding this incredible expedition.
