We meet at 9:30 AM at Supermercado Vea in Ciudad de Nieva. Start of the tour (127 km – 8 hours). Progressive ascent until reaching a maximum altitude of 3012 meters above sea level.

Contemplation of the majestic hill and the charm of the town. Time for photos and to appreciate the multicolored geology.
Pass through this cultural and tourist town of the quebrada. Brief walk through its streets and surroundings.
Arrival at the largest town in the quebrada, a World Heritage Site. Brief initial visit before continuing to Uquía.
Visit to the Church of San Francisco de Paula (17th century). Observation of the paintings of the Angelic Arquebusiers.
Stop to step on the imaginary line of the Tropic of Capricorn. Brief cultural and geographical explanation.
From Uquía, transfer by 4x4 vehicle to Hornocal. Unique panoramic views of the multicolored mountain range. Return with a brief 20-minute stop in Humahuaca before heading back to Jujuy.
What you should know

- To avoid altitude sickness, we recommend staying hydrated, not drinking alcohol, and eating light.
- Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
- Smoking, eating or consuming alcoholic beverages inside the vehicle.
- The excursion is not canceled due to rain or bad weather.
- Wait in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Drivers will not wait more than 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
