What to expect
The adventure begins with a 2-hour horseback ride guided by local experts. The initial route immerses you in history by following the ancient path used by the prisoners of Ushuaia. You will delve into the Patagonian nature, crossing unique trails within the characteristic subantarctic Nothofagus forests, in a deep connection with the environment of the End of the World.
The final stretch of the route will take you ascending to the summit of Mount Susana. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with unimaginable and spectacular viewpoints. From this natural lookout, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Beagle Channel, the city of Ushuaia, and the imposing Andes Mountain Range, capturing the essence of the Fuegian landscape.
What you should know
- Wear long pants (due to contact with thorny vegetation)
- Wear closed shoes that can fit into the stirrup of the saddle, ideally sneakers.
- Clothing with zippered pockets (for valuables).
