What to expect
Transfer and first sights
Transfer from your hotel in Ushuaia to the Lakes. Stop at the Valle Carbajal Viewpoint, with views of peatlands, mountain range, and glaciers. Crossing the Andes mountain range via the Garibaldi Pass, the southern section of this mountain chain.
Exploration of the lakes
Hike along the shore of Lake Fagnano, known as The Rest of the Horizon. Stop at Puesto La Carmen to enjoy a hot drink. Ascent to the Garibaldi Pass Viewpoint to contemplate Lake Escondido, nestled in a deep valley.
Lunch (Not Included) and return
Lunch at a local winter center (not included). Return to the city of Ushuaia via Route 3, arriving in the afternoon.
