What to expect
The day begins at the Llanos del Castor winter center with a dose of adrenaline and excitement. You will feel the power of the snowmobiles as you speed through the snowy valleys and Fuegian forests. Next, you will experience the ancestral practice of mushing, guiding a sled pulled by energetic husky dogs through pristine white landscapes, creating an unforgettable connection with nature and the animals.
After the intensity of the morning, the adventure continues at a more relaxed pace. You will put on snowshoes for an immersive walk, exploring the silence of the forest and discovering the secrets hidden by the snow. To conclude this magical day, you will enjoy an authentic regional meal in the warm refuge of the winter center, recharging your energy with the unique flavors of Patagonia and closing a perfect day.
What you should know
- Snow clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, boots, gloves, and buff.
- Persons under 18 years old are not allowed to drive the snowmobile.
- The snowmobiles are two-seaters, with 2 passengers per snowmobile and the driving can be switched halfway through the route.
