What to expect
The adventure begins with a 9 km (round trip) hike that ventures into the Tierra Mayor Valley. During the outbound journey, we will explore the unique sub-Antarctic forest, discovering along the way the effects of glacial activity on the landscape, such as the characteristic peatlands that define the region.
Upon reaching the end of the trail, we will be greeted by the stunning beauty of Laguna Esmeralda. On its shores, we will enjoy a comforting hot lunch while admiring panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. After the break, we will begin the return journey to be finally transferred to your accommodation.
