The high-altitude glacier expedition in the Andes is a technical and physical challenge designed for those seeking to experience the real life of a professional mountaineer.
What to expect
Trekking towards the high mountain
The adventure begins on the traditional trail to Laguna Esmeralda. From there, we will take a less traveled path on its right bank, moving at a cautious pace. During this stage, we will overcome various natural obstacles in the forested terrain until reaching the vegetation limit.
Ascent and endurance challenge
Once past the tree line, the landscape changes and the real mountaineering challenge begins. We will face steep slopes that will test physical endurance. This ascent section is crucial for acclimatization and prepares us for the higher stages of the expedition in the Andes.
