What to expect
Arrival at the workshop located in Villa de Leyva. We will meet for a sensory introduction where you will learn about the different types of soil in the region, their geological origins, and how they have been historically used in construction and local art.
20 MinutesYou will learn how to mix earth with natural binders to create your own paints. In this phase, you will also define the design you want to create on your altarpiece, drawing inspiration from the colonial and natural surroundings that surround us.
40 MinutesTime dedicated to painting your medium or large format altarpiece. Enjoy the texture of the earth and the creative freedom while sharing a drink and talking about life in Barichara.
