What to expect
Pick up at your hotel between 06:00 and 06:30 to start the transfer to the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
Visit to a panoramic viewpoint where you will see the Chachani, Misti, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes, with time for photos and landscape appreciation.
Tour of the church and main square of Chiguata, with time to explore the town and have an optional breakfast.
Exploration of the reserve to observe the highland flora and spot South American camelids such as llamas, vicuñas, alpacas, and guanacos.
Arrival at the Salinas lagoon, where during the rainy season water mirrors form; free time for photos and bird watching.
Visit to the Lojen hot springs for a relaxing bath; the complex has changing rooms and there is a short walk to the nearby mini volcano.
Stop at a countryside restaurant to enjoy lunch before returning to Arequipa.
Return to the city and approximate arrival at 17:00, end of service and drop off at your accommodation.
