What to expect
We will transfer from the hotel or the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa to the Colca Valley. We will make a stop in Chivay for breakfast and continue towards the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint.
From Cabanaconde and La Pampa de San Miguel we will start the hike into the canyon, enjoying Andean landscapes and panoramic views of the valley.
We will arrive at the town of San Juan de Chucho to enjoy lunch before continuing the journey.
We will cross the traditional towns of Cosñirhua and Malata until we reach the Oasis of Sangalle, where we will rest, enjoy the pools, have dinner, and spend the night.
We will start early the ascent from the Oasis of Sangalle to Cabanaconde to have breakfast before beginning the return.
We will make a stop where we can optionally enjoy a bath in the hot springs before continuing the trip.
We will return to Arequipa making stops at the Volcanoes Viewpoint, the Tocra Bofedales, and the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve to observe Andean wildlife.
