The best time to visit Guatemala City is during the dry season, which runs from December to April. These months are ideal because the weather is mostly clear and dry, with pleasant average high temperatures (around 23°C to 27°C), perfect for exploring historical sites, museums, and enjoying walks around the city without the interruption of the heavy afternoon rains of the wet season. Keep in mind that this period, especially around December, January, and Holy Week (March/April), coincides with the high tourist season, so the influx is greater and it is recommended to book accommodation and activities in advance.
