What to expect
Start of the activity at Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, located 78 km from El Calafate. Transfer from the accommodation to the port is not included.
Navigation on Lake Argentino towards the south face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Reception by specialized guides, delivery of technical equipment and crampons, safety briefing and preparation for the glacier walk.
Walk along the lake shore and the Patagonian Andean forest to approach the glacier entry area.
Walk with crampons on glacier terrain of moderate to high difficulty, observing crevasses, sinkholes, seracs, lagoons, and other ice formations.
Whisky glass served with glacier ice as part of the tour.
Continuation of the tour with a visit to the waterfall included in the activity.
Approach navigation on the south face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Visit to the panoramic balconies of the walkways to observe the Perito Moreno Glacier from different perspectives.
