What to expect
Pickup from the accommodation and departure to the Tiwanaku archaeological complex.
Guided tour of the main constructions of the archaeological site, including Kalasasaya, the Semi-subterranean Temple, Akapana, Kantantika, Kerikala, Putuni, and Puma Punku.
Tour of the Tiwanaku Museum, observation of the carved monoliths, and visit to the iconic Gate of the Sun.
Transfer to the town of Huatajata, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, where a traditional lunch will be enjoyed.
Visit to the museum to learn about the making of traditional totora reed rafts used on Lake Titicaca.
Ride on a totora reed raft through the calm waters of Lake Titicaca before returning to La Paz.
End of the experience with transfer back to the accommodation.
